Vik Muniz Studio Visit

Thursday, January 10

11:30 a.m. EDT

Vik Muniz Studio, Fort Greene, Brooklyn, NY

Vik Muniz offers a rare tour of his studio exclusively for Aperture Patrons.* The tour will be followed by lunch at The General Greene restaurant.

An American artist of Brazilian origin, Muniz is one of the most articulate and innovative photographers of his generation, equally at home creating images of artfully arranged chocolate sauce, spaghetti marinara, or the detritus of hole punchers. In doing so, he has carved out a unique role for himself within contemporary photography: part trickster, part philosopher, he is the creator of always compelling, delightful images.
