    If you have already paid your bill but are still receiving invoices, please keep in mind that it can take up to two weeks for us to receive and process your payment. If it has been less than two weeks since you sent your payment, please disregard any invoices that you receive, as our letters may have crossed in the mail.

    Damaged Issues
    We realize that sometimes magazines get damaged during delivery. To request a replacement copy, please contact us by e-mail, phone, or mail. If your magazines frequently arrive damaged and your mailbox is sufficiently sized, please check with the post office to see what can be done.

    Late or Missed Issues
    If you have missed an issue, please contact us by e-mail, phone, or mail to make sure we have your correct address and to request a replacement copy. Delivery may have also been suspended if there is an outstanding balance on your account. To make a payment, please click here to go to our secure payment page.

    Cancellations
    If, for any reason, you want to cancel your subscription, please let us know by e-mail, phone, or mail. If you have a concern or complaint regarding a specific issue or article, please contact our editors here. If you cancel your subscription, we are happy to offer a refund on any unmailed issues.

    If you canceled your subscription but are still receiving bills, please note that it takes a few days for a cancellation to become effective. If it has been more than four weeks since you cancelled your subscription, please disgard any notices you receive. If it has been more than four weeks and you are still receive notices, please contact us by e-mail, phone, or mail.

    How long will take for my first issue to arrive?
    U.S. orders can take 4–6 weeks for processing and shipment. International (including Canada and Mexico) can take 6–8 weeks.

    Can I track my order?
    Magazine subscriptions cannot be tracked.

    How frequently is Aperture published and when can I expect to receive my issues?
    Aperture is published quarterly in February, May, August, and November. Issues usually arrive around the 25th day of the publication month.

    Why do print subscriptions have a new, higher price?
    Aperture magazine was redesigned in 2013 and we increased the page count and trim size. These upgrades and ever increasing production and mailing costs forced us to raise our rates.

    When does the new Aperture come out and what are some of the changes that are happening?
    Aperture relaunched in Spring 2013 with issue 210, "Hello, Photography." It has a new editorial focus with new columns and writers, more photography, and the main section of the magazine divided into two sections: “Words” and “Pictures.” The magazine has also been completely redesigned for the first-time in more than 10 years by London-based firm, A2/SW/HK. It has 50% more pages, a larger trim size, and even higher-quality printing.

    Do I get any free gifts with my subscription?
    Starting in 2013, print subscribers will get the Zinio digital edition and The PhotoBook Review for free.

    What is The PhotoBook Review?
    The PhotoBook Review is a biannual tabloid-sized newspaper dedicated to photobooks, with reviews, opinion pieces, artist selections, and publisher profiles. Outside of a few select festivals and venues, the only way to receive a print copy is to subscribe to Aperture magazine. Aperture subscribers will receive a free copy of The PhotoBook Review along with the Summer and Winter issues of the magazine.

    How I can set up my free digital edition, complimentary with my print subscription?
    We must have your e-mail address to send you the digital edition, which is served by Zinio.
    For new subscribers, if you provided your e-mail address when you placed your order, approximately 10 days after you pay for your subscription you will receive an e-mail from Zinio that your digital edition has been delivered. To access the Zinio edition, you will need to create an account on zinio.com (if you don’t already have one) using the e-mail address where you received the notice.     Can I start my subscription with a back issue?
    Unfortunately, no. We can only process new subscriptions starting with the current issue at the time.

    A wide selection of back issues are available for purchase here.

    What is my account number?
    If you are a current print subscriber, check the address label affixed to the outside of a recent issue or request your account number by sending an e-mail with your name and address to custsvc_aperture [at] fulcoinc [dot] com. (If you are a new subscriber, your account number will be included in your confirmation e-mail, which you should receive approximately 30 minutes after your order is submitted.)
    If you are a current digital subscriber, login to your zinio.com account. Click on “account settings” then “view order history”. Find your Order ID – this is your Aperture magazine Zinio account number.

    I still have issues left with my current subscription, so why am I receiving renewal notices?
    Renewal notices are sent out well before your subscription expires. This is to ensure you have ample time to renew and do not miss an issue. If you have already renewed, but are still receiving notices, please keep in mind that it can take up to two weeks for us to receive and process your payment.  If it has been less than two weeks since you sent your payment, please disregard any notices that you receive, as our letters may have crossed in the mail.  If it has been more than two weeks since you remitted payment, please contact us by e-mail, phone, or mail.

    What is Automatic Renewal?
    Aperture offers no-risk Automatic Renewal to all subscribers. If you opt-in, we won't bother you with renewal notices when your subscription is about to expire. Instead, your magazine subscription will be automatically renewed unless you tell us to stop. You will receive a clearly marked reminder highlighting the renewal rate then in effect approximately 30 days before your credit card is charged or a bill is sent. If you do nothing, your credit card will be charged or you will receive an invoice for another subscription year. You may sign up or cancel this feature by calling 866.457.4603 or emailing custsvc_aperture [at] fulcoinc [dot] com at any time during your subscription term.

    How do I send a letter to the editors?
    You can contact the editors by e-mail. The publisher assumes no responsibility for the return or safety of unsolicited artwork, photographs, book manquettes, or manuscripts.
