Aperture Foundation’s Patron Program brings together a unique group of individuals who share our belief in the power of photography. Our patrons provide a crucial financial donation for the promotion of cutting-edge contemporary work, documentary photography dealing with pressing issues of our time, and underrepresented historic work. Each year, gifts from our patrons help us release sixteen to twenty new books; publish our award-winning Aperture magazine; present six new exhibitions at Aperture Gallery and travel our shows worldwide; and organize lectures and panel discussions with leading artists and authors of our time.
ART ALLIANCE (Annual gift: $10,000)
Join Aperture today as an Art Alliance member and enjoy year-round privileges designed for the passionate photography enthusiast. In recognition of your support, you will receive prominent acknowledgement on the Aperture Gallery Donor Board and website; invitations to exclusive events with masters of photography, emerging artists, scholars, collectors, and Trustees, held at private venues and artist studios; intimate exhibition viewings with artists/curators; private entertaining privileges at Aperture Gallery; plus all of the Art Council benefits below.
The cost of goods and services provided at this level is estimated at $2,150 with the Matthew Monteith photograph; $1,750 with the Paul Strand photograph; $1,300 without either photograph.
ART COUNCIL (Annual gift: $5,000)
- Special recognition as an Art Council member on the Aperture Gallery Donor Board and Aperture website
- A choice of one limited-edition photograph, exclusively produced by Aperture Foundation: Matthew Monteith’s Vokovice or Paul Strand’s Iris
- 20% discount on Aperture limited-edition photographs
- Two artist-signed Aperture monographs

The cost of goods and services provided at this level is estimated at $1,050 with the Matthew Monteith photograph; $650 with the Paul Strand photograph; $200 without either photograph.

- Reserved seating during book signings, lectures and panel discussions, upon request
- 15% discount on Aperture limited-edition photographs
