Join contemporary artist Sable Elyse Smith and scholar Nicole R. Fleetwood, co-editor of Aperture’s spring issue, Prison Nation, for a discussion of the unique role photography plays in creating a visual record of mass incarceration.

This event is co-organized by Aperture Foundation and the Brooklyn Museum.
