Opening Celebration at Princeton University Art Museum: Native America

Celebrate the opening of Native America: In Translation, curated by Wendy Red Star at the Princeton University Art Museum. The exhibition considers the wide-ranging work of photographers and lens-based artists who pose challenging questions about land rights, identity and heritage, and histories of colonialism. Enjoy interactive gallery activities and learn more about the art on view with Chief Curator Juliana Ochs Dweck and Bryan R. Just, Peter Jay Sharp, Class of 1952, Curator and Lecturer in the Art of the Ancient Americas.
Art on Hulfish is free and open seven days a week. Masks, vaccination, and contact information required. Under the University’s current visitor policy, children under 12 are not permitted to enter the galleries.
Native America: In Translation is curated by Wendy Red Star. The exhibition is organized by Aperture Foundation, New York.
