Over 300 guests in photography, art, fashion, media, and music gathered to celebrate the relaunch of Aperture magazine.

Wednesday night, February 27, over 300 friends from the worlds of photography, art, fashion, media, and music gathered to celebrate the relaunch of Aperture magazine. There was tangible excitement as guests were among the first to get the new Aperture. Michael Avedon, Paul Banks, Helena Christensen, Bruce Davidson, Celso Gonzalez-Falla, Anthony Haden-Guest, Trevor Paglen, Mick Rock, Andres Serrano, and Manish Vora were among those who enjoyed by music from DJ Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors and premium cocktails by Espolón Tequila and Macao Trading Co.

The new Aperture, which hit newsstands on February 26, features a bold redesign with more pages, new columns, the strongest contemporary image-makers, and the most insightful writing on photography—all in a larger format.

The Aperture magazine relaunch party was supported by Domino Records / Ribbon Music, Macao Trading Co., and Patrick McMullan Company. Premium beverages were provided by Espolón Tequila. More photos of the evening are available at Patrick McMullan Company.
