Since 1904, the mission of the Humane Society of New York is to prevent the suffering of animals through the provision of affordable and free quality medical care in the Society’s Hospital, shelter in the Society's Vladimir Horowitz & Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center, and humane education.
