About the Artist

Pedro Meyer (b. 1935, Community of Madrid, Spain) is the founder and president of the Consejo Mexicano de Fotografía (Mexican Council of Photography) and organizer of the first three Latin American Photography Colloquiums. His work has been exhibited in hundreds of museums worldwide and is in the permanent collections of The National Art Museum of China, Beijing; The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; The Victoria and Albert Museum, London; The Musee National D’art Moderne Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; The International Center of Photography, New York; and many others. He is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and the first Rockefeller Foundation grant to be awarded to an online project.
