Aperture at Atlanta Art Week
Special Event
Aperture at Atlanta Art Week
Thursday, October 3 - Sunday, October 6
10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. EST
Join us at an exclusive pop-up event at Atlanta Art Week, where you’ll have the chance to check out new limited-edition prints and books while connecting with fellow artists and photography fans.
Aperture will present an installation by Arielle Bobb-Willis, showcasing vividly colorful, choreographed photographs featured in the newly released Keep the Kid Alive (Aperture, 2024), the rising artist’s first monograph that expands the genres of fashion and art photography.
Also on view and available for collectors will be select prints and limited editions from Aperture’s print program, including works by Ernest Cole, Todd Hido, Justine Kurland, Richard Misrach, Zanele Muholi, Kristine Potter, Jamel Shabazz, and Hank Willis Thomas. In addition, new work will be on display by Kelli Connell, whose exhibition Pictures for Charis is presented at the neighboring High Museum of Art through January 5, 2025.
Guests can also explore our latest titles, including I’m So Happy You Are Here: Japanese Women Photographers from the 1950s to Now and Louis Carlos Bernal: MonografĂa, as well as rare and signed photobooks, classic Aperture titles and Aperture magazines, and special subscription offers will be available on site.
All purchases from our pop-up event benefit the artists and support Aperture’s nonprofit publishing and public programming.
