Floridas: Anastasia Samoylova and Walker Evans Walk-Through

Aperture invites Patron Circle members and above to attend an exclusive walk-through of Floridas: Anastasia Samoylova and Walker Evans.

Artist Anastasia Samoylova will lead attendees through her exhibition, which brings together her own photographs of Florida—captured since 2016—with the work of Walker Evans (1903–1975), a pioneering figure in American documentary photography. This dialogue between past and present highlights Samoylova’s engagement with Evans’s legacy while shedding light on pressing issues such as climate change, gentrification, and political extremism.

Following the walk-through, attendees are invited to continue the conversation over drinks and light refreshments at the American Wing Café.
