In 1952, Aperture’s founders planned for the future.

They knew that words and pictures, when brought together, could bring new meaning, new opportunities for understanding, and new ways of connecting with one another and the world. We honor this original vision through our quarterly magazine, photobooks, exhibitions, education, and public programming.

When you designate Aperture as a beneficiary in your estate, you are helping to secure another seventy years of bringing together the images, artists, and writers that deepen our love of the medium and understanding of the world around us.
