David Levi Strauss: Between the Eyes

In an era of social confusion and visual pandemonium, David Levi Strauss tackles issues of photography and politics in a way that few critics today are courageous enough to attempt. David Levi Strauss is a writer and critic in New York. His previous publications include Between Dog and Wolf: Essays on Art & Politics and The Legacy of Landmines, a collaboration with photographer Bobby Neel Adams.
John Berger is a novelist, poet, screenwriter, and critic. He is the author of numerous works of fiction and nonfiction, including To the Wedding, About Looking, and G., for which he was awarded the Booker Prize. Among his best-known works is the television series and book Ways of Seeing. He has received prestigious awards for his writing, including the Petrarca-Preis and a Golden PEN Award.
