Online Opening Reception: 2020 Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards Shortlist

Join Aperture and Center for Book Arts for an online opening reception of three new exhibitions. The event will include exclusive walk-throughs of each exhibition, alongside remarks by the curators of the Central Gallery exhibition, Lindsey Landfried & Ann Tarantino; artist Be Oakley, who is exhibited in the Foyer and Bindery Galleries; and Sarah Meister, the Executive Director of Aperture Foundation who will introduce the PhotoBook Awards exhibition in the Print Shop gallery.
The 2020 PhotoBook Awards Shortlist will be on view at Center for Books Arts until September 18, 2021. You can find more information on the exhibition and how to visit the space on their website.
NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Center for Book Arts will hold the public opening reception online. A Zoom link will be sent in an email to all registrants.
2020 Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards
The Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards, founded in 2012 to celebrate the photobook’s contributions to the evolving narrative of photography, comprise three major categories: First PhotoBook, PhotoBook of the Year, and Photography Catalogue of the Year. This exhibition includes the thirty-five books shortlisted for the awards in 2020.
