Join Aperture at Photo London, the leading international fair of photography that brings together the world’s leading institutions in photography. The fair is a celebration of the medium in all its forms—from emerging contemporary artists to historic and iconic masters; it offers visitors an opportunity to explore, discover, and collect some of the world’s most exquisite photographic artworks. Aperture and Photo London have come together to program a series of talks at the fair between Aperture editors, artists, and principal academics in the world of photography.

Aperture will introduce newly released titles, including Ed Templeton: Wires Crossed, a punk-infused, part-memoir, part-document of skateboarding culture as it came of age in the 1990s and early 2000s; Ari Marcopoulos: Zines, a work that processes Marcopoulos’s daily practice of photographing his life, his family, his neighborhood, and the rarified cultural milieu in which he operates; Tommy Kha: Half, Full, Quarter, a debut photobook that traces East Asian stories embedded in the topography of the American South; and Kimowan Metchewais: A Kind of Prayer, the first survey of the late Cree artist, exploring Indigenous identity, community, and colonial memory. The Spring issue of Aperture, “We Make Pictures in Order to Live” will be available with special subscription discounts, exclusively at Photo London.

Also, in addition to special artwork by Nick Waplington and works by John Edmonds, Martin Parr, Viviane Sassen, Hannah Whittaker, and more, Aperture will feature a new limited-edition print by Ed Templeton in celebration of his newly published photobook. Aperture will also debut a new print in our collaboration with Autograph, featuring a work by Joy Gregory in addition to the work of Rotimi Fani-Kayode.

The proceeds from Aperture’s limited-edition print program, in addition to benefiting the artists, help support Aperture’s not-for-profit publishing and public programs.
