Cornelius Eady is the director of the Creative Writing program at the University of Notre Dame. He is the co-founder and vice president of Cave Canem, a retreat for African-American poets. Among his many awards are the Academy of American Poets Lamont Prize and fellowships from the Rockefeller and Guggenheim foundations. Eady was a finalist for the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for his music-drama “Running Man” and the 2001 National Book Award for “Brutal Imagination,” He is the author of seven previous volumes.
Nathan Lyons is founder of the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, New York. His previous photography books include Notations in Passing and Riding 1st Class on the Titanic! He is the recipient of the International Center of Photography’s Infinity Award for Lifetime Achievement in Photography.
