Exploring the “The Colors We Share” with Angélica Dass (5-10 years old)
Wednesday, June 16
5:00 p.m. EDT
The Colors We Share (Aperture, 2021) by Angélica Dass is a book for children that shows them how wonderfully colorful humans really are. Join Aperture and the Schaumburg Township District Library for this special talk with the author that invites children to consider how they see themselves and others, through both similarities and differences. Kids will also discover how to mix their own skin color with paint.
This event is for primarily for children ages 5-10 years old, but all are welcome!
This program is in conjunction with the exhibition, The Bias Inside Us, on view at the Schaumburg Township District Library from May 29 – June 27, 2021.
This program will take place online on Zoom. After registering, you will receive a link to the Zoom webinar at least one hour in advance of the program.
