20th Annual Brooklyn Children’s Book Fair

At Brooklyn Museum - Brooklyn, NY
Event Time:

Location:

Join us at the Brooklyn Museum for the 20th Annual Brooklyn Children’s Book Fair and meet your favorite local authors and illustrators. E.A. KAHANE and Tom Toro will share the newly released title from Aperture Kids, Between the Balloons: My Thanksgiving Parade, with copies available at the fair. Throughout the day, children can chat with authors and illustrators, listen to readings, watch artists sketch, get books signed, and participate in book-related art projects.

Larger-than-life balloon characters, marching bands, and delightful surprises fill every page of this magical take on the famed Thanksgiving Day Parade. A playful blend of photography and illustration, Between the Balloons reveals that with imagination anything you see can become something extraordinary.

The Brooklyn Children’s Book Fair is free with museum admission.
