Booth J05
Visit Aperture at Paris Photo, where we will feature our latest releases, including Paul Mpagi Sepuya: Dark Room A–Z, an iterative return and exhaustive manual to the generative ways of working that have informed the artist’s image-making over his career; I’m So Happy You Are Here: Japanese Women Photographers from the 1950s to Now, a restorative history that presents a range of lived experiences and perspectives of women in Japanese society; Louis Carlos Bernal: Monografía, a landmark survey of the photographer’s intimate portrayals of the American Southwest; Arielle Bobb-Willis: Keep the Kid Alive, the rising artist’s first monograph that expands the genres of fashion and art photography; and Nick Waplington: Living Room, Aperture’s new edition of the artist’s classic monograph depicting 1980s working-class Britain. Plus, copies of the fall issue of Aperture, guest edited by Deana Lawson, will be available, along with Paris Photo-exclusive subscription discounts.
Aperture will host a program of book signings throughout the fair and feature opportunities to meet artists Myriam Boulos, Kelli Connell, Danny Lyon, Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb, and more.
For the first time, Aperture will present a selection of limited-edition prints from the book and exhibition I’m So Happy You Are Here: Japanese Women Photographers from the 1950s to Now. Also on view at the fair will be the 2024 Paris Photo–Aperture PhotoBook Awards shortlist.
Tickets are required to visit the fair, and can be booked through Paris Photo.
