Saturday, September 22

2:30 p.m. EDT

Westergasfabriek , Klönneplein 1, Amsterdam

Starting in the early twentieth century, photography and the moving image have an intimate and intertwined history as filmmakers and photographers drew inspiration from one another. Witness a conversation between artists that utilise both mediums, as they delve into the symbiotic relationship between the two most influential mediums of contemporary art.

David Campany (Writer, Curator and Artist) in conversation with Wendy McMurdo (Visual Artist) and Paulien Oltheten (Visual Artist)

Co-curated this year by Futures and Aperture, the Living Room at UNSEEN aims to ignite fresh conversations on the most pressing themes in contemporary image-making. The Living Room is an Unseen Foundation initiative.
