Aperture Patron Trip to Turin
Tuesday, April 15 - Friday, April 18
Aperture invites Patron level members and above to join Aperture Executive Director Sarah Meister, trustees, and Aperture editors on a four-day trip to Turin, Italy, for the opening of Carrie Mae Weems: The Heart of the Matter at Gallerie d’Italia. This highly anticipated survey of Carrie Mae Weems’s career is curated by Sarah Meister, who also edited the accompanying monograph.
In addition, guests will be invited to a number of special opening festivities and dinners and to exclusive guided tours of CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, Museo Casa Mollino, and Castello Di Rivoli, as well as be given VIP access to EXPOSED: Torino Foto Festival, and have seats for Sarah Meister’s talk with Carrie Mae Weems.
